what causes the car to idle perfect but not take fuel without cutting out

when i accelerate the car runs really rough, and no power. it does idle perfect

There are several factor that can cause this condition, from a plugged catalytic convertor which will cause back pressure in the intake, there is faulty ignition coil , to a faulty MAF sensor, If you can gather a code that is set this helps in determining the direction for the repair
