Hi there,

The engine coolant temp sensor is located next to the thermostat housing on the engine. You may have to remove the upper intake to gain access to it. Most of the time either the sensor is the problem or low coolant in the engine can also cause the code to appear. The sensor is just threaded into the engine and you can easily remove it and replace it. Again, you may have to remove the upper intake to gain good access.
