Will the intake temperature Sensor keep th car from running if it is malfunctioning?

Got a new fuel pump new injectors new filter car starts and dies right away unless your spraying carb cleaner through the snorkel then it will stay run ing until you stop spraying. Could this sensor be the culprit?

HI there,

This code is for the mass air flow sensor and the intake air temp sensor. If it's not sending the correct info to the computer it can prevent the car from running. Basically because the fuel mixture is so wrong. Since you have codes for both and it's the same sensor, I would double check the wiring at the connector. You might not be seated tight or the wires might have pushed back out of the connector causing no signal.
