HI there,

This is a very broad code, it basically means the computer sees a problem in the evap system but cannot pinpoint where. Since you are having problems putting gas in, look for an issue with a stuck closed vent control valve, problem with the purge solenoid or possibly the canister is coming apart and plugging up the purge lines. Any of these will cause the fuel vapors to back up and kick the gas pump off.
