2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L with engine code P2122, will not accelerate pass 3,000 rpm and won't change gears

This code is for the accelerator position sensor. Most of the time you can replace the app and the car will return to normal. This will affect the shifting and also prevent the engine from increasing past fail safe.
