2010 Ford Edge SEL 3.5L, I noticed it came on when the wheels were turned all the way. It gave a code C1963
C1963 Stability inhibit control
Check to see if there is any other code that set when this set, Ford has a TSB about this condition as being intermittent, Here the TSB on the matter:

INTERMITTENT DTC C1963 IN ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE
FORD: 2010 Edge
LINCOLN: 2010 MKX
ISSUE Some 2010 Edge/MKX vehicles may exhibit an intermittent C1963 diagnostic trouble code (DTC) with no other DTCs present in the anti-lock brake module (ABS), powertrain control (PCM), or steering angle sensor module (SASM). The customer may observe an intermittent stability control system/traction control light illumination.
ACTION Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
If other DTCs are present with the C1963 in the ABS module, the SASM module, or PCM do not continue with this article. Refer to WSM or PC/ED for normal diagnostics. The C1963 DTC can be set due to other issues with the SASM, the stability control sensor cluster, the PCM, and the wheel speed sensors.
