I got the code P0720 on my 2008 Ford Edge 3.5L V6. Please help me

Hello, we just replaced the output speed sensor to work out any issues. Now the car will only go in reverse and jerk when shifting into each gear. Please help me, not sure what other step to take. Thank you.

As you know, this code points to an issue with the OSS. Since replacing did not solve the issue, you need to check the wiring and for mechanical issue with the transmission. Here is some more info for you.

What the ECM does is look for open, short, grounds and rationality, P0720 will result in a harsh shift or abnormal shift, if this is the sensor, P0720 more than likely appears due to an internal mechanical transmission problem.
