Is there a way to clean a VSS sensor?

Vehicle intermittently slows down to 1500 RPM at random times with no codes.

There is no way to clean the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) , unless it has contaminates from debris , other than that there is  the idle speed actuator, What the idle speed actuator does is maintain a target RPM, in take in consideration a deceleration, maintain RPM when the a/c is in use, you can do a throttle body cleaning, but right after that you would need to a idle air volume learn procedure, or the idle will stay really high
