Replaced lower manifold gaskets due to water mixing in the oil.
Ever since I got it back together I can not get the ignition timing to specification 0 +/-2. I get -20 as my average when running the engine at 1100 rpm's. The code is P1345.

The motor runs but wants to die when put in gear.
So I am wondering if maybe I am a tooth off or could it be a cam or crank shaft sensor.

P1345 CKP / CMP correlation

This is not a sensor problem but a mechanical problem , This is a pain to install. Your off a tooth, This is not a cam sensor problem , you set a cam code , the ECM see the cam sensor , and the CKP out of adjustment. If this is a new distributor the distributor lock down tab, you would have to drill to index the distributor to its mark.

If you go the direction of rotation this is retard, if you go towards the direction of rotation it advances the timing, This is a difficult the job shop pays one hours guys like me get in may be 3 hours and the engine warm and its a hot day, any way if you want I can send you by email any info you need
