On this Year, the ECM will detect a problem on its second ignition start or it would pend it , So you would have to do the basic such as whats fuel  pressure at, Is the compression good, Does the engine have ignition spark, The main purpose of the CK ENG LT or just to have a computer on the vehicle is to control emission and to protect the catalytic convertor which in turns protects the environment from harmful emission.
