This type of condition are seen alot with Chevy product, Your driving down the road the service tract light comes on and its braking for you when you really need to go faster. Even with this condition, it does not cause a misfire. If this was caused by a CK ENG LT there would be a code that would give the information that the service all wheel drive" is disabled. and its more for a transmission code such as the TCC solenoid having problems. Misfire are the usual culprit the ignition coil, As for the Service Stability Tract light to come on it when the CK ENG LT comes on., it can be caused by a faulty module, use TSB # Recall 14515B here a small copy of the problem :

When the CK ENG LT comes on it suppose to disable the ABS system , the reason the vehicle is not a manufacuer specification in your case it can not do that
