I have a 1999 Chevy venture it will start and run you can drive it for ten minutes then it will die then you got to let it set awhile and it will start back up. I took it to a mechanic they hooked it up to the computer and it said thrift fuel. What is thrift fuel and how do I fix it please and thank you

They probably sad bad fuel , that may have water, If have fuel that sat a long time it is normal for it to have water occur. Either way you have a fuel problem , depending on what thrift fuel is meant .on the extreme side it can  it can also be a bad fuel pump. 

 Here a fuel pump where is feed line developed a crack on the feed hose which caused low fuel pressure to develop. This caused the vehicle to run for a while then stall . It would not start up right away just 12 minuts later it start up and stall again
