09 lancer p0301, service engine light on, but nothing is wrong with the car

Question

My car has the service engine light on, and the p0301 code came up, but the car does not drive weird, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car, it drives perfect, has same strength, why can this light be on?

P0301 Misfire number 1 cylinder

Even if you do not feel the misfire condition the ECM see this by means of the CKP , a loose sparkplug will cause a misfire condition, try this remove the number 1 ignition coil with its sparkplug to a different cylinder and see if the misfire follows if it does replace the ignition coil.
