Emmisions CODES

Question

2005 Nissan TItan and i have a code P0420 how can i fix this so i can pass emmisions? And also No MIL at key-onengine-off  mil commanded on what is that?

HI there,

P0420 is for the bank 1 catalytic converter  not working properly. Most often the converter itself has to be replaced to resolve that issue.

P0455 is a code for a gross evap leak. Most of the time with this code it is the vent control valve causing the problem on the Titans, but it could be leaking anywhere. A smoke test is the best method to locate the leak.
