I have a 2009 Nissan altima coupe and the code P1778 and p1700came up. And no one knows how to fix it plus thry are telling me to change the whole gear so is that true

This code you test the step motor function this , also the input and output put sensor or what called the primary and secondary speed sensor, P1778 is more a electrcal or step motor problem
