Variable time actuator loosing oil pressure

P0017 crankshaft position - exhaust camshaft position

When this code occurs the crankshaft  to exhaust camshaft timing is in the wrong position, so there will be rough idle and even a stalling out condition, what happens is the exhaust valve is open sooner so there is no complete combustion , the fish is to replace the camshaft actuator, and it is highly advise that you replace both the intake and camshaft actuator
