Have check engine light on after hitting pole with mirror and breaking glass

Question

After hitting pole and breaking passenger mirror glass, truck died.   Would start but died several times. Started in Neutral okay and was able to continue driving. Check engine light on. After completing drive, will start normally and run fine. Check engine light still on. Is it because on broken mirror wires ?

It very slim possible, the power from the mirrors are from the Totoly integrated power module , which can affect the operation of the ASD relay.
