I have 4 codes p0340, p0037, p0420, and one is coming up twice

Question

the 0340 code is the camshaft position sensor, i changed it and no help. Car is very sluggish and slow to accelerate. Can the combination of these codes cause this or is the ecm bad?

Hi there,

You have a cam sensor code, a faulty catalytic converter code and a rear O2 sensor code.

It is very possible that the catalytic converter is plugged up. This wold cause loss of power and could also cause the converter code, P0420 and the P0037 rear O2 sensor code.

As for the P0340 cam sensor code, you could have a bad sensor if you didn't use a dealer part, or the ignition timing could actually be off.

I would drop the exhaust pipe and see the converter is broken up or melted.
