How can you tell whether it is the CYP or CKP sensor?

The CYP does not give a drivability problem you need a ECM and the CK ENG LT just to tell you that you have a problem with the CYP, The CYP determines timing at start up, The CKP is then used for timing of the fuel injectors.

​The CYP is in the distributor and is not serviceable, There are certain cause for a P1381 which tends to be a Honda thing, A charging system that produces to much a/c ripples. this would caused by a bad battery that not capable of grounding out a/c ripples, Another would be a missing leak cover in the distributor other than that its the distributor
