I have code P2444 coming up and it was cleared, if this happen again will this problem hurt the engine? I will be towing a 4500 LB camper?

This would only hurt the pump by causing the pump to overheat, Check the dealer and see if the warranty for the secondary air pump caused by water intrusion is still being accepted and one time it had a extended warranty due to water intrusion which was causing the code to set
