I have a PO121 code on my 2007 toyota corolla
PEDAL POSITION SENSOR A CKT RANGE PERFORMANCE.
Auto zone tells me I may have to spend $400 or so but also said it could be just a component so the cost would be less.  Also, This is a 2007 corolla engine in a 2000 corolla. Any info would be appreciated.

P0121 Throttle position sensor circuit range performance problem

The codes condition is the same just the part is different, the 2007 use a drive by wire which the whole unit is replaced a 2000 uses that a TPS switch so there is a price difference and a parts difference but the code is the same
