My 2007 Volvo XC90 3.2engine 6cylinders currently runs poorly especially on gear one(1). The check light indicator came on after the car’s mechanical timing was set by my local technician. When driving on a hill no matter how small the hill, the engine runs but with some unpleasant noise and with reduced/poor performance.
When diagnosed, the wrong code is P0016(crankshaft position camshaft position correlation bank 1 sensor A.
With a diagram, can you show me the correct timing of the car and how this error can be corrected?

P0016 Crankshaft to camshaft position correlation

This code may not even be cause by a CKP  to CMP timing has the variable valve timing solenoid even be check for any faulty performance. , a faulty variable valve timing would do the same thing poor performance irregular idle and the engine would cut off during driving, Replace the variable valve timing solenoid on Bank 1 as a starting point
