Code P1504 on Ford Ka (year 2002)

Question

I have one Ford Ka of year 2002.
When the car slows down, the engine stops .
The witness of driven control switched on, including when the engine turns. I found à code P1504 without any additional explication .
Can you indicate me the reason of this anomaly ?
Considering the car's age,
Is the repair will be important ?

HI there,

This code is for the idle air control, usually you can remove it from the throttle body and clean it up with some carb cleaner. Then reinstall it to resolve the issue. Sometimes the pintal gets sticky and doesn't move. Cleaning it can solve that problem. If the problem persists even after the cleaning then the IAC may need to be replaced.
