what else sould i replace besides the ect sensor?

i replaced the ect sensor and the code po118 keeps popping up on my scanner tool .  What else should i look for?  1997 chevy 1500 pickup. the code means i have a high circuit input what does that mean i should do?

What this code means is there is no connection, Circuit high input mean just that a failed connection, The terminal ends tend to spread out where contact is not being made , what to look for is a open connection either at the harness, or spreaded out connection. If you look at the scan tool data, a failed connection would read ECT at -40 .in F.
