I have a 2000 Infiniti QX4 3.3L is my cam sensor bank 1 easy to get to can i do it myself?

Hi there,

On this engine the cam sensor is part of the distributor. The distributor itself has to be replaced. If that's something you have the ability to do then yes, it's something you can do yourself. Make sure the rotor spins when you crank the engine. Sometimes if the timing belt breaks, then you will get the cam sensor code because the cam drives the distributor
