Do I have to worry about this code 2502 since my serpentine

Question

Code 2502 popped up, discovered serpentine belt slipped off due to a failed water pump, Do I need to worry about this after replace the pump and belt

If this code was set from the belt slipping off or being loose then no you would not have to worry, Since the correction has been made, when the belt was replaced  the PCM should turn of the CK ENG LT. If it stays on then check the charging system , it is always a good idea to clear the CK ENG LT after repairs
