Check engine light not working

Question

Hello everyone
My check engine light not working when I turn switch on
and when an trouble code occurred
so I must use the obd2 scanner every week to test ECU errors
please can you show me how to fix it
It is just the dash light not working
When I connect to dlc I can read everything like troubles codes and sensors values
But I must use obd2 scanner everytime to check
Because I do not know what is going in my car without check engine light

Fortunately this year make and model uses small light bulbs, the fix and hopefully will resolve the issue is to remove the instrument panel and check and inspect the light bulb  for the CK ENG LT
