car all of a sudden shifted up and down hard. now it isnt?

this car hasnt given any grief as far as shifting. the other night it was shifting hard in up gear and down. brought it to the garage , and it drove the same way. It came up codes : p0221, p0200 and p0176. drove it home and no issues, like i was lying!! any ideas??? i have put far too much work into this car, i guess they must be known as problem cars.

P0221 Throttle position sensor , range / performance problem

P0176 Fuel composition sensor circuit malfunction

Two concern for this code, a faulty TPS will cause the transmission to shift hard, but just to have a P0176 with a TPS code, contaminated fuel such as water in the fuel tank will set these code together if they are related to each other. TPS are known to be faulty and a replacement are the usual fix.
