Are Lexus codes the same as Toyota codes?

I have aB2799 Engine Immobilizer System code on a Lexus IS 250. Is this the same key programming issue as a Toyota with the same code? Also getting a P038 Camshaft Position Sensor code...
I'm a girl,  so forgive my ignorance  :)
Vehicle: 2006 Lexus IS 250

Yes it is the same process as the Toyota, same as with the camshaft sensor code , and are both treated as equal information
