I have a 2004 Honda civic and am getting the following codes. P1298 and P0135.

Question

What do these codes mean? How can I diagnose the specific problem ? Are any of these serious issues that need to be addressed immediately for I am planning to take car on 3 hour road trip.

Hi there,

P0135 is a generic OBDII code for the O2 sensor heater on bank 1, sensor 1. This normally won't affect the running of the car or cause you much trouble.

P1298 ELD circuit high voltage detected. This code is related to the headlights and  should not affect the drivability of the car.
