Why will code keep coming back ?

Question

2nd mechanic has it and cant figure out why it keeps throwing code P0303, coils changed, solenoid changed. Complete tune up done.

P0303 Misfire number 3 cylinder

They to this is to rule out a mechanical condition. the best way to find is either a running compression test, or a leak down test of the specific cylinder
