I replaced the camshaft posistion sensor and I'm still getting the same code saying it's bad.
I was driving down the highway having no warnings at all and it shut off and wouldn't start back. Had to have it towed and I've looked and looked, I can't find any broken wires,  or anything that looks wrong to me.
 Anyone have any ideas?

 Thanks,

P0340 camshaft position sensor

Even with a camshaft code the vehicle would still start start and run,  camshaft code can set when there is a no start condition, rule out a mechanical condition by inspecting the timing belt, and broken timing belt and a camshaft code ,timing belt has to be inspected
