error code p1000

Question

been told p1000 is no big deal. but it shows repair difficulties and urgency at a max 3. Why when its no big deal?

P1000 Readiness monitor not complete

In a way it is not a big deal, It does not set the CK ENG LT on. there is no drivability with this . it just a informative code. What make this real difficult is if the monitor does not set and all the drive criteria has been met. and P1000 is still set, and a emission test has to be done in order for the registration to be complete. one day be fore the due date for the registration. and the person who is doing the emission test gets all the blame for the emission test not getting complete.
