can a car that fell off a jack with tire off cause a p1406 code?

Question

A friend was putting on new brake pads on front driver side when the jack succumbed to the soft ground it was on and car fell towards the side where the tire was off. the next day the engine lite came on and I got the p1406 code and b1877

P1406 Exhaust gas recirculation position sensor performance

B1877 Driver per tensioner circuit open

No this falling off the floor  jack would not set this code or even help set this code, The EGR sensor was more than likely a code that was already stored but yet not matured. same with B1877  this is the pre tension for the seat belt.
