code P0404 reading after a new EGR and Left side manifold replacement. ??

P0404 EGR position sensor rationality

When this code occurs , it due to the EGR port from the exhaust to the EGR that tends to plug up, this lower the amount of EGR gases that should go into the EGR . The fix remove the EGR and remove the blockage

​ The EGR here set a P0404, with the EGR valve removed and the intake port block, the EGR was commanded open with a scan tool and sure enough limited amount of EGR gases set a P0404, remove the EGR and clear out the port resolved P0404
