Question

I have a 02 monte carlo with 109,502 miles with a code po443 evap problem. I changed the evap solenoid and purge valve and the small hose going to the throttle body . code still come back after 3 engine cycles

P0443 Evaporative emission system purge control valve circuit

The reason for the rapid code to set, is the ECM looks for open circuit, short circuit, grounded circuits, unfortunately the ECM sees a open circuit. There is two connection on the purge solenoid, one is battery power, the other with engine running should be ground, the ground comes for the ECM. If ground is not present from the ECM the ECM is faulty
