like to know what parts to fix or replace to clear check engine light ,i see my question was asked but not answered by another user .

P1404 EGR position performance

The condition you have when P1404 set , is for  the EGR, what happens the ECM is commanding the EGR to be closed, but the EGR is still in the open position. which results in rough idle , Replace the EGR , clear the code
