1999 Toyota Solana, SLE, V6 2Dr had the code P0402 recirculation flow excessive exhaust detected

Using a pressure tester, while engine running, inadvertently use excessive pressure on the EGR valve/sensor. Now we have the code P0402 Recirculation flow exhaust excessive. Cleared the code but came back. To clear the code What can I do next?
