Engine code P1494 ,Jeep what is it,& how to fix?

2003 Jeep liberty 3.7L auto,62,000 mi 4wd. Stock suspension,factory accessories.will need oil change shortly.

P1494 = Evap Leak Detection Pump Pressure Switch Condition
 

The Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected that leak detection pump switch change after solenoid was energized.

Possible causes:

• Faulty Leak detection pump defective
• Leak detection pump defective circuit open or shorted
• Faulty Solenoid

Start by clearing the code, if the codes comes back you may have to replaced the Leak detection pump.
