Having a problem with my 2000 nissian xterra

Question

My knock sensor & crank sensor is showing but which one will cause my SES light to come on & my starter kinda drags when starting the car would it cause either codes to come on?

The knock sensor will not trigger the engine light or cause any noticeable problems. The crankshaft postion sensor is more than likely what is causing the problem.
