Toyota corolla 1.6 auto p1349 engine light?

Got this fault showing on diagnostic. Can it be caused by over filling with oil/wrong type of oil? And do toyota corolla auto's have hydraulic tappits?

This code is not normally the result of to much oil, however low oil can cause the code. Often the code is the result of the oil control valve. Toyota does have some service bulletins for this code depending on the model and year. As for the tappets, the lifters are solid on these.
