service engine light was on now its off p1447 code

then my car started overheating but the gauge goes up and down says it hot then its normal i've never owned this kinda car before so i have no clue . they only code that came up was the p1447

P1447 DMTL system fault

The code you have has nothing to do with the vehicle cooling system, P1447 is the diagnostic module tank leakage , this is for the evap system, what you may have a problem with is improper coolant level, to a faulty thermostat.
