Had this problem 3 months ago. Had the shop replaced the pedal and sensor. Worked great for 3 months, now it's doing it again, same as last time. What could be causing this same problem to start again?
Will it hurt to keep driving?

P2138 Accelerator pedal position sensor

Connection issue are common problem when this code occurs, there are several. TSB that Buick has produced in addressing this code concern TSB # 07-06-04-019E  and  08--06-04-014B.

Here is one of the main cause for a P2138 on a Buick, this is where moisture intrusion tends to set a P2138 code condition
