P2097 Hyundai 2007 accent -what are likely causes for this code engine misses when hot

fires at low rpm fires fine at high rpms

Hi there,

The code is for the post catalyst fuel mixture to rich. This makes sense with a cylinder misfire. You are dumping raw fuel into the catalytic converter.

I would try a new ignition coil on cylinder 1. It's likely not firing at higher rpms, you just can't feel the misfire as well.
