i have a code for a 1998 ford escort zx2 its p1383

i changed my battery and now i have this code showing its P1383 and a fuel system ol fualt any sugestions

P1383 Variable valve timing over advanced Bank 1

Fuel system fault on the data stream this is on the live data, it represent a open loop condition, this is not a fault but a condition. P1383 this is mostly seen as a intermittent condition, check the oil  level , ensure its proper, If the battery was changed, and the engine was running which is a way you are not suppose to replace a battery , you can set this code. either way clear the code, if it return the operation of the VCT will be needed.
