P1115 Kia - will it cause it to idle ruff and want to stall

My heat coil went out so i bypassed it. And now its throwing the p1115 code. It idle ruff and wants to stall out.

P1115 Water temperature signal malfunction

Yes this can cause a rough idle, but not necessary cause the engine to stall. this code is exactly that a open circuit to the coolant temperature circuit.
