Have replaced the plugs, wires, and coil block.  Started out getting a P0305 reading when it is really damp out or when the engine is under load (such as a lower gear going up hill).  Both coil block and wires have been replace twice with number five cylinder wire having add more insulation covering over the wire.  Idles great.  Today it ran good from one stop light and starting missing at the next stop light and would run fine at the next.

The best way to test this is disable the EGR by unplugging the vacuum hose line, There been a theory that if number 5 misfire on most Ford engine that the EGR should be suspected as the cause before proceeding with the ignition. The reason being is that cylinder 5 is nearest the EGR
