2004 BMW 530i V6 with engine code P0461

Question

I got a leak of oil and it spread underneath the car. This oil had gotten in the connections and caused the code to show P0461 Fuel Level Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance that's what it says in the code.

No this would not cause a P0461, the fuel pump is just underneath the rear seat, well protected including its connection harness
