What is the diffrence betwin po-138 and po-142

HI there,

P0138 is for a circuit issue wth the bank 1 sensor 2. The P0142 code is for a circuit issue with the bank 1 sensor #3 which this car doesn't have. In fact, this code is not even in the list of codes for this model and year configuration.

Normally you can resolve this code by replacing sensor #2 on the exhaust system. This is the O2 sensor AFTER the catalytic converter.
