P0122 2002 Jeep Liberty -

Question

I have the engine light come on for jeep 2002 it has code p0122,i  only just brought this car is this a major issue should I be giving it back in the cooling off period ?

HI there,

The code is for the throttle position sensor. I would at least take it back and have the tps replaced if that is a viable option. It's not really a "major" problem in most cases like a bad engine or something, but it does need to be addressed.
